Message from Scandia:
I am beyond thrilled and very honored to announce that Kirkland Arts Center in Kirkland, WA will be graciously hosting a month-long exhibit of my Landscape Paintings from May 29th running through end of day June 27th, 2026. In honor of this event, I am currently creating larger scale versions of my translucent landscape paintings featuring my multi-layered technique.
All of my paintings will be for sale through the Kirklands Arts Center and their commission percentage earned will go towards directly supporting their non-profit art school and gallery programs and spaces. This is not only a charming, historical space but also a great resource for art makers and art buyers alike.

Scandia has designed and led many workshops over the past 17 years. She continues to teach glass fusing technique-based workshops at Art Glass Distributors & Retailers, by request.
Classes are generally 2 Day Workshops in a wide range of techniques. Her approach to hands-on teaching and to supporting attendees success during classes have earned Scandia high marks from those that have taken her workshops. 3-Day versions to be offered in some locations in 2026 by request.
